Animal Lover

I have two dogs and one cat. Some people consider animals just strictly animals. Well, my family and me consider animals part of the family. Oreo is my baby. She is an eighty five pound Lab/Rottweiler mix. She is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She came into our life as a puppy about 5 or 6 years ago and has been a blessing. She was a stray; a friend of my mom found her and her two brothers in a bucket on the side of the road on her way home from working in the nursing home in Texas. The two brothers were taken in by two ladies that worked with my mom. Oreo came home with us. Well, mom didn't really want to keep her; she should have never let me lay eyes on her then. I don't know what we would do now without her since our first baby E.B. past away. E.B. taught Oreo everything she knows. She loves to play ball, mainly fetch. She also enjoys a game of tug-o-war. She usually wins.

Then there is the oh so ever spoiled Little Bit. Her real name is Little bit of sass. She was not adopted. We bought her not too long after we were blessed with Oreo; she is a Miniature Yorkie and a blessing also. She is cute, but a s***head. She is so darn cute that there is no way to be mad at her. When we leave or go on trips, she loves to go and do her business on every ones bed. That is, I guess, her way of letting us know she is not happy. She also plays fetch with Oreo. We have an acre and a half; so they have plenty of room to run. They both love people; well I don't know if they love the people as much as the attention they get.

The last of our animals is Sox. He is a very old and sweet cat. He is all black except for his feet(hints the name Sox because they are white). He is not the playful type; he likes to lounge around and eat. He is extremely sweet and loves for someone to pet him, but he only likes it on his terms. He does not like to be picked up by any means. He has his own heating pad and his own chair in the middle bedroom(which belongs to him). I would definitely say that our animals are spoiled; there is no doubt that they have good lives.

These are the three animals that we have in the house right now. We have had at one point four cats and two dogs. My grandma, who lives on the same land behind our house, had four cats and a dog at the same time. We love animals as you can see. We also have horses next door that we used to go over and ride. We don't so much any more because of the busy life we all live; we still go over and feed Push, the horse, an apple everyday. I don't really know why I love animals so much. I suppose it is partly because they are so adorable, and they don't talk back. They are always there; everyday when I come home from work or school, they are sitting at the door waiting for me to go outside and play ball with them. There is nothing better to me than coming home to Oreo sitting at the door with one of her toys, especially on a bad day. I don't care who you are, that would make you smile in a heartbeat. I love having animals around, and I don't know what I would do without them in my life!

Cute animals. Could you use a font I can read more easily? Old eyes, you know!
